THE HE(ART) OF A BACHELOR

            THE HE(ART) OF A BACHELOR

If I wanted a belle who would twist and turn
in rotary ambitiousness like a serpent.
Babe, I know where to look.

But my cogitations are not of swaying-hips,
Or pouting-teats of Jezebels masquerading as virgin nuns.

Neither are they advisement that seek Eve’s bulbous apples.
Chop and clean mouth.

They are aches for true beauty:
Beauty bereft of trendy mundanities
Coated with silly grandiloquence.

They are sincere demands of character, age & grace.
I have found them in you .
